Youth Group

WCTYouthgroup2011

Welcome to the Whitby Courthouse Theatre – Youth Group. Our stage is set for another great season. Our goal is to create a fully integrated theatre experience for our youth between the ages of 10 and 18.

We provide an opportunity to cultivate and develop creative skills in a safe, friendly environment. Our program offers a wide range of theatre experiences.

Workshops are conducted with the group participants from September through December and focus on a wide range of disciplines covering both acting and technical themes. As the spring approaches, focus turns to preparations for our annual Youth Group Performance (in June), which provides cast and crew opportunities for all the group members to participate in.
